Lake Tahoe is a large freshwater lake nestled in the Sierra Nevada Mountains. It includes the right-angle left corner of the State of Nevada and is in both California and Nevada. Tahoe is also the largest alpine lake in Northern America. The area has a plethora of ski resorts, hiking trails and water activities, making it fun to visit any time of the year.
